Both sides were determined to win the title as its the last final clash between this 2 teams in a 'Rubber-match' typed scenario. The team who wins this match will be declared the winner.

Shadow Knights got the upper hand first as their skipper sent a shot into the net from a free kick. Unknowns slowly settled into the game and the score at half-time saw Unknowns leading 5-4. Due to bad weather, the second-half kickoff was delayed once the pouring rain came to a slight drizzle. Meanwhile, Ruipeng came off for Hanlip as the custodian for Shadow Knights. Unknowns made their substitution as well, Brian and Ignatius came off for full-back Weikiat and the returning Jasper.

The slippery pitch made the players slow their movements down. At the final whistle, the score stands at 12-7, with the Unknowns clinching their 2nd unprecedented title, coming back at a 6 must-win games.

The Unknowns look on to upset the Shadow Knights by extending their winning ways and have a rubber match to decide which team will emerge champions.

Into the first half-break, Unknowns found themselves lead 11-2. Most goals coming from their ace striker Brandon. The Shadow Knights also fought back hard as well, getting a scoreline of 6-2 against their counterpart in the second half, that wasn't enough at the end of the day when Unknowns won 13-8 in the end.

That leaves 1 match win for each team to win the title, details are not out yet but one thing we'll know is this tasty match will take place on the 21st February due to the Chinese New Year period.

All Unknowns would like to wish everyone an advanced, Happy Chinese New Year.

Both teams left out some key players prior to the match. Unknowns were without the service of the pair of hands of Zhiqian and have yet to debut Kenneth, their newest acquisition, into the team yet. Shadow Knights were without their ever reliant captain Shawn and utility player Chengwu.

It was the Shadow Knights who drew first blood by scoring 2 goals in a time frame of 5 minutes. Into the break, Shadow Knights were leading by a 2 goal margin which saw the scoreline at 8-6. Tactical changes were made to Unknowns to ensure that they will not lose the league to their counter part.

Ng Weikiat came in at his infamous position at full-back, while Brian came in at an unfamilar position in front of goal. Shadow Knights too, have to do without Sigmund after half-time, where he was replaced by Ruipeng and Weixiang, to strengthen the defence of the team.

In the next half, Unknown had a 8-3 lead and it totals to a 14-11 win. The Unknowns had narrowed the gap of tasting victory to 2 wins, while Shadow Knights still have that 1 pending win to secure their first league title.

At the scorching hot pitch of Limbang, the 2 teams clashed and a win from Shadows would mean that they have wrapped up the whole campaign as champions. The defending champions Unknown FC has 5 matches to win before winning their back-to-back league titles.

Shadow Knights had traded midfield maestro Ivan for Unknown's first-choice keeper Yongqin. In addition, the club also signed Ashik Juwaini. Unknown on the other hand, have signed Kenneth Teo which has yet to debut for the club.

During the game, there were twists and turns with the scoreline. But when the final whistle blew, it was Unknown who managed to win with a narrow victory. This means that Unknown would have to win 4 straight matches to win the league while Shadow Knights would just need one.

In a series of twisted events, Unknowns pulled an interesting victory at home with a 8-6 victory over arch-rivals Shadow Knights. After a heavy downpour leaving the pitch wet, the player's spirit wasn't dampened and they scored a 14 goal thriller.

Brandon opened the account for the home side after dribbling past defenders and netted it. The Knights made a comeback very shortly after a beautiful set-piece from Ivan past a hapless Unknown custodian. Knights took their first lead in the match after Sigmund connected with a pass from Shawn to make it 2-1.

The Knights doubled their lead through a Weixiang tap in amidst a confused Unknown defence. Brian scored a brace soon afterwards after a through pass and a throw in respectively from his captain Teddy to bring the game to level. Brandon turned Ignatius' shot deflection into a goal to take the lead once again.

Sigmund of the Knights repaid the favour given by his skipper earlier by unselfishly passing it to him and equalised the game. Knight's skipper was pressurized by the Unknowns that his pass to the custodian turned to be an own goal. Ivan got a brace himself after finding space in the Unknown's area and scored the equaliser yet again.

Brian grabbed his hat-trick as his half-volley turned into the net to regain the lead once again. That was not to be as Sigmund running down the right flank shot from a wide angle into goal equalising the game into 6-6. That was perhaps the last action from the Knights as Brandon's pass found Brian who stuck his foot out for a lead-regaining goal.

The last goal came from Brandon after getting a pass from skipper Teddy and shot it into the net, getting his brace.

The Unknowns certainly felt right at home with a victory of 3-2 against rival Shadow Knights. The match is "First to score 3 goals based" and it was certainly a hard fought victory.

The Unknowns got the return of defender Jasper after missing out in action since the beginning of the league. The two teams went into match with a large number of players only to narrow all to 5-side.A complicated Unknown formation tasted the first blood with a flick from Rui Peng to Hong Kai only to shoot at a helpless keeper.

The teams were experiencing a goal-drought when the burly striker Cheng Wu was brought in. The Unknowns broke through the deadlock and got themselves an equaliser after Brian,former captain of Unknowns, tapped in home.

Shadow Knights did not want to lose out either and right after skipper Shawn was substituted in, he gave a neat pass to Rui Peng who blasted a shot into goal. The lead didn't last too long, the teamwork between Teddy and Brian confused the defence and equalised once again from a shot by Teddy the current skipper of Unknowns.

Both teams gave all out to find the last and crucial goal to show who will be victorious. After a good defending by Jasper on Shawn, he lobbed the ball, which reflected back to Brian to put a shot home to secure their fourth victory.

hello hello this is ur captain,teddy speaking....this is the first time i m doing the match report coz usually is brian the vice captain hu do it.

Today we had our fifth match at BEAUTY GARDEN STREET SOCCER COURT again.The first goal was shot in by mr xiao hongkai frm a long range shot.Thn the unknowns managed to catch up n made it a draw after mr brian linnus leon lee "zam" in a goal.so now the score is 1-1.after another 5mins thn WAD SIALLLL!!!!!mr peng tap in a goal.haha,thn i scored a goal to make the score 2-2.the last goal was scored by mr brian linnus leon lee so victory was to the unknown!!!!not bad siallll.

As the 2nd match of the new league began, the 2 team met at Beauty Garden. It has been confirmed that Ignatius in on the Unknown's side. Unknown FC goes into the match losing key player, Jasper who didn't star in the starting 2 matches.

A confused defence of the Shadows saw Wei Xiang carelessly kicked the ball into his own net. To double the lead, Brandon got past the right flank and scored one on one with Han Lip, custodian of Shadow Knight FC.

Just after the break, an unexpected volley from defender Zhi Qian made the score 3-0. As players started to leave the pitch, the Shadows grabbed the chance with a shot from skipper Shawn past custodian Teddy and another long shot from a distracted custodian, Brian.

With the win, Unknowns grabbed all six points and got an unprecedented consecutive victory.

Report:

The opening of the league season was held at the Beauty Garden Street Soccer Court. Shadow Knights have inked deals with Tan Cheng Wu and Ignatius. On the other hand, Unknowns have signed in Ng Wei Kiat to strengthen the defence.

Shadow Knight's skipper Shawn helped his side drew 1st blood with a poor defence and performance by then custodian Yong Qin. Sigmund doubled their lead with a shot taken from a distance past a helpless Yong Qin.

Just when they thought they had added salt into the wounds of Unknowns, Brandon equalised with 2 neat shots. Just before the break, Yong Qin did a need point-pass to Brian who helped his side take the lead. Although pressured by 3 players, Brandon managed to come out of that and double the lead to 4-2 before going into the break.

Moments after the restart, a rather complicated defence saw newly signed player Wei Kiat chip in the ball into the net. Brian took advantage of a shot blocked by Han Lip to volley into the net.

Shadow Knights managed to add the goal on the chart with Rui Peng's neat finish past then custodian Teddy. A switch of keeper was signalled to the referee to replace Brian.

At the restart, Yong Qin once again scored from the set piece to level his side to 9-3. Shawn then capitalised on the restart one on one with then keeper Brian. The custodian found no way to stop him from scoring.

A close shot was put in by Rui Peng but it hit the crossbar. Brian then did a high drop shot. All the Shadow Knights thought it was going out but instead, it went straight into the goal post.

The match ended at 10-4. Unknown lost Yong Qin due to infringements, Brandon due to an important matter. Shadow Knights too only lost Ignatius during the match because he was also seeing into an important matter.

The above is the photo of the soccer ball i bought for our training.since no1 wanna play for the soccer fund so i used my money to buy the ball first.The price of the ball is $29.90 n brian is willing to pay $10 for the ball n i appreciated it.thx.

From next week monday to friday which is 1st dec - 4th dec i m not in singapore but in KL.Brian will be in charge for everything for that few days.

Hi all mates, Brian here and just to inform you guys that I am no longer the captain and will be replaced by Teddy. But I remain the Vice-Captain so I am still pretty much of a help.

Training Schedules:
Each of you should have receive a soft copy of the schedule sent to your e-mail inbox and if you would want to have a hard copy, print it and keep it with you. Remember the notes printed and bring the nessasary stuffs.

Have a file with you too because notes will be given to you during the Meetings. File them nicely and bring them every training and meetings. Hey, just a file, won't die eh?

Soccer Fund:
The captain has sugguested this scheme that every activity, members must bring $3 and funds pooled together will be used to buy a new soccer ball, jersey, shorts and outings. I will stand in as the treasurer.

Report
Under the wet weather, both team dogged each other hoping of a win that will see either team lifting up the league cup. Match 0010 was suspended and changed for a Finals as both team's points were still equal at that time.

Brian started out at the bench, and skipper was named to Jasper, who led the team to a 4-1 start before Brian came on in. Courtesy of a hat-trick from super substitute, Brandon and a brace from the current skipper, left Shadows at a shock of the results almost at the brink of half-time.

After the 'regular' captain came in, free agent Jing Zhe came also in to even the match handicap. Teddy made a good volley outside the semis to score. Brian got the brace from a pass from Brandon.

Players were dis-moraled as the rain seemed like it would never stop and therefore, Shadows' players were seen leaving the locker room even before the match continues. Officials and captains negotiations had named the victory to Unknown FC.

Summary:
Probably the best keeper seen in the league, Han Lip has definetely the 'safest' pair of hands. His keeping skills has caused problems for the attacking side of the Unknowns with much room for improvements.

Regardless of in the air or ground, nothing really intimidate the keeper. The Shadows, known for its strong defence, got the reputua mostly from Han Lip.

- Match 0010 and 0011 is cancelled again and will be postponed to the next day due to the full court today
- Player of the Year Award Nominees are supposed to be submitted by the captains of both teams of 4 players. Players are then voted by the public and winners will stand to gain prizes.

With so much at stake, that this league, whichever team gets the first 45 points will win the league. When both team gets the same point, the goal difference will be taken into consideration.

One of the probable title-deciding match will be the next meeting of match 10 and 11. Match 10 was ruled out due to bad weather conditions and the next 19 minutes will continue on Monday. Also on that day, another league match will be played.

Veteran keeper of the Shadows, custodian of Unknown Yong Qin and midfield maestro Teddy is not expected to be field into the match on Monday too as they are off for stint and personal reasons respectively.

Will a well-balanced Shadow Knight FC cross out an attack-focused Unknown FC on Monday? Match detail to be announced 4 hours after the match.

The Unknowns had their prodigal son back. Yong Qin who started the match as the custodian and the match had to be postponed due to the heavy afternoon showers. Match will resume 6-5 within the next 19 minutes of game play.

The Shadows drew first blood due to the poor goal keeping of Yong Qin, let in the earliest goal from Shawn off the start. An equaliser came in when Brian met 1 on 1 with Han Lip and tapping the ball into the back of the net.

Shadows had the chance to take the lead but Sigmund's shot just went out wide. Therefore, giving the chance for Teddy to chip in a leading goal. An equaliser was seen when Rui Peng connected well with a pass from Shawn, staying 2-2.

Unknowns had a chance to take the lead off a defensive collision but Brian's soft touch found the ball going off the target. Shadows then took the lead with a poor keeping again and was taken by Shawn. Off a drop shot from Cheng Wu, Brian connected well to equalised with a mid-air shot.

Adding insult to injury, Yong Qin scored an unexpected own goal for the team and later a conceded a goal from Shawn. Brian narrowed the 2 goal gap to 5-4 and just nice for half-time. Straight from the restart, Yong Qin scored an equaliser making up for his mistakes for the first half.

The last goal of the game was scored by Rui Peng and the rain was too heavy for the match to continue that the match was postponed to a later date.

Release of player

The team have an unsuccessful contract negotiation for player, Ong Yong Qin. For the 10th game contract negotiation, Yong Qin failed to come terms with it and therefore be released temporarily until the contract has deemed valid.

He is believed not to ink on the dotted line for personal reasons. His sudden absence on the Match 0009 had made the Unknowns on shellshock. He phoned call reasoning that his mum will not allow him to play and hoping that things are about to take a turn.

Other than Yong Qin, Brandon had also been released for breaching the teams' regulation. With 2 players released pernamently and temporarily, the Unknowns are left with 5 regulars consisting of top scorer Brian, volley maestro Teddy, burly midfielder Cheng Wu, dogged pair defenders of Zhi Qian and Jasper.

The team regulars didn't include all-round player Ivan whom would only play at Beauty Garden and showing that the regulars lack of goalkeeping experience. " You see... we need Cheng Wu to go upfront but his keeping skills are better than Zhi Qian's. Also, he refused the post given and Zhi Qian had to be the custodian"squad captain, Brian said during an interview.

"Yong Qin will be expected to return soon and I'll leave that for a suprise on the Shadows." smiled Brian as he ended the interview.

Due to the incompliance of having match 0010, therefore, the match will be postponed. The Unknowns had yet another tie against the Shadows with a 9-9 spoiler.

It was the Shadows who drew first blood and it is also a double from Midfielder Rui Peng. Unknowns closed the gap difference to 2-1 with a well-taken shot from Teddy. The equaliser was until Cheng Wu crossed in perfectly for Brian to boot.

The poor performance of the defence of Unknowns let in many soft goals from the Shadows. However, the team-work of Brian, Teddy and Cheng Wu help to mend those 'holes'. On Unknowns' fifth goal, the Free Agent passed the ball to hard for his cousin to pick and scored an own goal. After an equaliser from Shadow's captain Shawn, Cheng Wu lobbed in a lovely cross and an excellent header from Brian saw the score overtakes.

Just when the whistle is about to be blown, Teddy's volley help equalised the de-moralised team.

Unknown FC vs Shadow Knight FC Match 0009 and 0010 Preview

Both teams will colide yet again at Limbang Park after having matched up to the same point at the last two matches. It consist of Shadows winning 12-8 and losing 10-11 to the Unknowns.

There way too many goals on that day proving both team put up a hard fought victory. Shadows went into the first match without Wei Kiat, Wei Xiang and Rui Peng and have to borrow a player from a 5-man strong Unknown FC. They lost Jasper the dogged defender and had a hard time penetrating the defence. Therefore losing 8-12.

At the next match, Unknowns lost Zhi Qian, the full back next best after Jasper claimed skipper, Brian. However, with Jasper on their side, they won 11-10 a narrow victory thanks to Brian and Teddy scoring 2 important goals after a 9-9 tie.

Wei Kiat, Rui Peng and Wei Xiang are expected to arrive and be present for the next 2 matches on Monday probably a title decider.

"If we lose any of our team players, I think our team will be de-moralised. So I really hope Shadow Knight FC will have a full-strength club on our next visit"said Brian after the 2 exhausting match.

Preview:

With players some adapted to the new change of environment from Beauty Garden to Limbang Park, they will meet the 7th time. The win of the last match, saw the Unknowns grew on level with the Shadows.

Shawn, the team captain and playmaker for the Shadows, had several injuries on the last match proving he have yet to adapt the new venue. He was pressured on 5 different occasion with aggression, giving 3 yellow cards to the vice-captains of the Unknowns. They consists of Teddy, Yong Qin and Jasper.

One man who proved to have adapt in the new environment is Unknowns' captain, Brian, who whacked in 8 goals in a single match, steering 5 goals away from Top Goal Scorer contender, Shawn. "I find that the high metal fences and no parapet around the pitch is an advantage for us as we do not need to waste energy and time to pick the ball up as many times as at Beauty Garden." Brian exclaimed.

On their 7th meeting, it marks the first time match in an early morning due to the holiday of the players. A sigh of relief could be heard at the last paper the players were having. Now a part of the mind could be at ease now that the examinations are over.

Can the Unknowns get the advantage of the pitch and defeat the Shadows or will the Shadows' determination outwit the Unknowns? You can catch the match yourself at Limbang Park, admission is waived.

Match Report

It was raining goals on the first match on new ground, Limbang Park. Unknowns barely survived the ordeals and attack from the Shadows with a 10-8 win.

Unknowns were playing lots of defense leaving skipper, Brian to attack alone. Suprisingly, Unknowns drew first blood with a shot deflected both put by Brian. Shadows drew on level with a soft tap in from Rui Peng. Shawn lead his team to lead 2-1 up with a kick directly into the net from the left wing.

Unknowns again drew on level with another shot put in from Brian. Shadows too took the lead with another shot from skipper Shawn. Brian once again showed dominance in the team to equalise once again raising the morale of his team. They lost the equaliser by a mistake from keeper Jasper Chia.

First half ended when Brian volleyed a ball seeing Han Lip got no chance to save it. The half ended with Rui Peng and Shawn scoring a double and Brian scoring 5 goals.

2nd half started with an equaliser from Rui Peng scoring from the restart. Spirits were not dampened for the Unknowns with Brian scoring his double hat-trick with a boot into the net. Yong Qin later mistakenly lost control of the ball and it was an own goal.

Rui Peng scored his hat-trick when he was one-on-one with keeper and he was just a step better. A 1-2 combination from Brian and Teddy saw a perfect finish from Teddy, atking the lead. Shawn was fouled by Yong Qin and the freekick was taken deep into the circle but the defense blocked that and Brian's lob found into the empty net when Han Lip was taking the set piece.

Brian rubbed salt into the Shadows wound again by tapping a soft goal past keeper Han Lip. Shawn got his consolation goal from a defensive mistake. At the last few minutes of the game, Yong Qin's clearance found the empty net and game has ended.

"I could see that Han Lip is injured at that time because of my volley, but he wanted to be be substituted. However, Shawn their skipper wants him to play." Brian said exhaustingly after the match."Shawn too have falled 5 times in the game with trips from hte defense, costing him a few grazes", he added with a number of experiences on the pitch before the match.

"We finally could go on par with the Shadows with this victory."said happily by Yong Qin. This victory will show that the both teams are of the same points but Shadows still lead with Goal Difference.

Dear players and fans,

The Management decided to re-locate venue for League Match 0006.

Captains should have told the players and make nesscary transportation. However, that is well-taken care of. Players not turning up on that day have to report to your captain or vice-captains.

The change will be from Bukit Batok Beauty Garden to Choa Chu Kang Limbang Park. Access to transport over to Bt Batok, Bt Panjang, CCK, Woodlands and Boon Lay is convineiently available and its a 5 minutes walk from the interchange.

Dimension of playing pitch will be about the size of 35.5m(flanks)x7m(width), which is also almost the same as Beauty Gardens'

Any changes made will be informed to the players and fans.

Match report

Yet another encounter between the team and both teams had to share the points in the end. Only half a match have been played due to disruption of the other teams.

Unknowns were the one to start the ball rolling with Teddy nearly putting the ball at the back of the net thanks to Han Lip's good keeping skills. Obnoxious defender, Jasper, blocked a shot from Shadows' skipper Shawn saving the team from conceding the first goal.

It seemed to be a goal drought until Cheng Wu dribbled his way to the semi-circle and pressured Han Lip accidentally pushed back the ball to find an unmarked Brian which drew first blood for his team.

A combination of Rui Peng and Wei Xiang through the middle of the park saw Wei Xiang equalised with his goal past helpless keeper, Yong Qin.

Play was put to a stop when 1 Ruby came back to disrupt the match and the match stands 1-1.

Unknown FC vs Shadow Knight FC Match 0005 Preview

The match might be either on Monday or Tuesday depending on situations claimed both team. Since the last match, the Shadows defeated the Unknowns 5-1, steering 3 points clear off the Unknowns.

The Unknowns had a really difficult time at the match as there was internal conflicts within the team and players are not playing seriously. In the end, the five goals conceded consists of 2 own goals and 2 soft goals for the Shadows.

The Shadows drew first blood when Sigmund blasted in a shot and found the back of the net. The Unknowns equalised when skipper Brian boot in a cross from team-mate Cheng Wu. Later in the game, Shawn put in a shot when Unknown custodian at that time, Yong Qin, grab i lightly and kicked it into his own net acidentally as the ball fall off.

More insult to injury, another shot was put in again by skipper Shawn when custodian, Ivan Siow, made a mistake and it went into his own net. This next shot was also put in by Shawn and Yong Qin, found no way to block the shot. With Shawn and Wei Xiang along side the attack, a 1-2 shot was put in by Wei Xiang to summarise the game with a massive 5-1 victory.

When interviewed with Brian, the skipper of the Unknowns, he claimed that player. Teddy and Brandon were not on the same page and had conflicts within the team."We had a vote whether Brandon should still be in our team and I was voting a yes but majority wins."he said when Brandon was released from the team.

His departure was exchanged with full-time player Ivan Siow who had scored about 5 goals this season."He is a multi-purpose player. He could be in any kind of positions, regardless of a keeper, defender, midfielder or striker. He jus played really well with any of that." exclaimed Teddy, still furios with team-mate Brandon.

The saga began when Brandon was in the team and did not pass the ball when asked and tried to play alone in the game himself. Even in free matches when he was appointed to Shadow Knight FC, he was playing alone. This lead to a very angry locker room meeting during half-time.

The time is coming for Unknown FC to draw level with the Shadows with a win this time round. With the conflicts cleared and every player turned serious, can both team cross each other out?

Unknown FC vs Shadow Knight FC Match 0004 Preview

This 2 teams had been competing for championship since early September this year. A win from either both side will see them leapfrog one another ahead of 3 points. Or will it be a draw to maintain the scoreline.

From their first meet, they were drawn by 2-2 with each other. They made a come back from goals scored by Shadows' skipper Shawn who is currently leading the Top Scorer List. For the Unknowns, they were fortunate to double their lead by an own goal from a defensive mistake of the Shadows.

In their second meet yesterday, they had a dogged-fight as each team was crossed out by equalisers. A stop was put to this by a goal from Hong Kai, taping in a loose ball into the empty net.

That was not over for the day, there is a third meet for them and this time, things started to change. The Unknowns were leading after half-time 6-2 when the Shadows narrow the gap till it was 7-7.

However, the rain has disrupted play and a last goal will see the winner. Late into the game, Brian, the skipper of the Unknowns lured keeper out and found and unmarked Cheng Wu to tap into the empty net.

"Its funny that when each team wins, the goal difference is just 1. It is very surprising that many goals can be scored in a single matches showing that the team is active." exclaimed Brian to our press, whom scored 5 goals so far one goal of from Shawn. "I would like our team to be victorious in our next meet and overtake the Shadows but the keeper is quite strong." Agreed with Brian is Teddy the playmaker. "We found it hard to score with good defender like Wei Kiat and a good custodian Han Lip."

Both team choose the best players to played a friendlies with 1 Diamond. Although 1 Diamond got the better of them, both team wasn't disheartened. "I enjoyed playing with people like them who jokes around whilst playing. It really liften up the mood." said Brian. The selection squad of 1 Jade was crossed out 2-1, 5-0.
